Eduardo Bonilla-Lopez arrested for murdered
Bonilla-Lopez, 18, is accused of kidnapping and murdering a 17 year old teen, Haylie Gonzalez. He Facetimed a witness in an attempt to get assistance dumping a body. The witness was able to see a woman bleeding from her head during the call, refused to help, and demanded Bonilla-Lopez take her to the hospital.
He admitted to police that Gonzalez was at his home earlier in the day and was shot. At the time of the call, Bonilla-Lopez thought Gonzalez was still alive but severely injured. He made another call to a different person, where he left Gonzalez’s body to be disposed of and proceed to clean his car.
Bonilla-Lopez was arrested on charges of Kidnapping and Murder in the First Degree. The person who disposed of Gonzalez’s body is still at large.
