Brittany Dawn Jeffrey pleads guilty to firebombing police cars
Jeffrey, 32, is one of five people who planned and executed a firebombing attack on municipal and state police vehicles in Little Rock during a Black Live Matters demonstration. The group met up at Jeffrey’s residence to plan the attack and where they built Molotov cocktails in preparation.
The group drove around the Little Rock metro and found police vehicles in the 12th Street Substation. They began slashing tires, breaking windows, and one threw a Molotov cocktail, although it burned out as it was thrown.
Jeffrey plead guilty to the a single count of possessing an unregistered destructive device in exchange for the rest of the charges being dropped against her. She has gave testimony about the plot and the actions of her co-conspirators. Jeffrey is scheduled for sentencing in another 90-120 days. She faces a maximum of five years in prison.
