Jeremy Pauley arrested after purchasing human body parts stolen from Arkansas mortuary

Pauley, 40, a “human blood artist” from Pennsylvania purchased body parts from Candace Scott. Scott, working for the Arkansas Central Mortuary Services, stole body parts which were slotted for University of Arkansas for Medial Sciences and sold them.

Police found multiple five gallon buckets with various body parts, including brains, and a child’s mandible. Pauley sent Scott $4,000 for the parts he purchased from her and was planning on reselling them through Facebook, despite the trade of body parts violating their terms and conditions.

Pauley is being charged with abuse of a corpse, dealing in proceeds of unlawful activities, and receiving stolen property. He claims that the parts he purchased were lawfully obtained from a Facebook market place which deals with such items. Scott is yet to be charged.
