Luis Guillermo Rodriguez-Martinez arrested for abuse of a corpse
Skeletal remains were found March 27, 2020 and send the Arkansas State Crime Lab for identification. The remains were determined to belong to Kevin Gonzalez, 25. He was last seen April 2019 before he was reported missing. Investigators believe he was shot.
After a much redacted arrest affidavit, Rodriguez-Martinez, 26, was arrested for abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence. Formal charges have not been filed. He has been interviewed, but the details have also been redacted.
Rodriguez-Martinez is expected to be in front of a Benton Circuit Judge in October. Bond has been set for $200,000.
