Lee King shoots men who picked him up while King was hitchhiking
Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation was originally looking into King because he is believed to have shot a woman in a carjacking near Oklahoma City. King drove off to Vian with the stolen vehicle and ran out of gas. John Riggs and Jake Meyers picked up King and drove him to a gas station in Vian. Returning to the vehicle, King shot both men and left them on the highway.
One received a wound to the head and the other was shot multiple times in the body. King is believed to have driven off with the vehicle he stole near Oklahoma city. The pair were found by another driver, Kristina Perrin, who saw them laying on the ground. Both men were taken to the hospital in stable but critical condition.
Multiple agencies are looking for King but believe he is no longer near Vian.
