Jordan Canfield arrested for stealing a child
Canfield convinced a young boy to leave a swimming pool with her. Witnesses say she called him over and walked away holding the boy’s hand. His father began searching for the boy as soon as the father realized his son was missing. Canfield and the boy were found a few blocks away and upon being called, the boy ran to him and Canfield fled.
Police were called and found Canfield a short time later and was arrested. She is facing charges including kidnapping a child, obstructing justice and possession of marijuana. As far as the investigators can tell, Canfield was a stranger to her victim and his family.
