10 000 marijuana plants seized in raid
Weilun Zhang and Cindy Zheng were arrested in connection to a drug trafficking investigation looking into a marijuana trafficking organization in Oklahoma and Colorado. The organization was originally though tto be a Chinese money laundering organization and 21 Chinese nationals have been indicted so far.
During the search in a Colorado property, deputies found firearms, over a million dollars, 10,000 mariuana plants and 100 pounts of processed marijuana.
A local sheriff said, “If you want to move to Oklahoma to set up a grow operation in Oklahoma, that’s fine, let’s do it, but let’s do it properly.”
