Travis Harp not facing charges after drive-by

Harp, a Rodger’s firefighter, was arrested due to an incident last November. He was accused of shooting into the home of his girlfriend and son while driving past. Harp and his girlfriend had an argument shorting beforehand.

A witness said that Harp wanted to do a “drive-by” but until the shots were fired did not know what he meant. The police reported that Travis was intoxicated when this happened. It also states that he is being treated at the VA for PTSD.

The case was closed shortly afterwards, but reopened in July, when Harp was arrested. He was taken to the Benton County Jail with bail set at $40,000. Last week, the state announced it would not be pursing charges against Harp and he will not have to appear in court.
