Randell Mealer’s body found
Court documents allege Randell Warren Mealer, a former assistance principle in Colorado Springs, engaged in sexual activity with a student at least 50 times during the 2017-8 academic year. He was facing over 50 counts of first degree sexual assault. He was arrested at the beginning on the month.
He was found dead a few days later on what the county sheriff called a “rural” part of the county. Investigators determined he died of a self inflicted gunshot wound.
